Ice Dams are something we need to be mindful of all winter long. When we get a lot of snow it is best to rake off the 5' to 6’ section of your roof after it has stopped snowing to prevent any ice dams from forming.

Living in Minnesota our temperature change fluctuates often which can cause Ice dams in the winter. Ice Dams can form on any roof and it is best to take care of them as soon as you start noticing them or before they start forming.
